The First Day of 1st Grade and a New School!

Its here!!! lol Summer break is over (as fun as it was) I’m excited that Kayla is back at school for the school year. Here in Arizona there are 2 ways to make it through the summer and thats vacations out of the heat and swimming, we have had our fill of both! This year Kayla starts at a new school, a charter school. It’s going to be a big change for her but we are both happy to have this opportunity to give our children the best education we can provide. Some of the things that will take an adjustment are; uniforms, earlier start times, a BIG homework load, and a very traditional educational environment!  We welcome prayers for her as she starts at a new school with all new friends and we know that God has put her right where she needs to be!

Good Luck Kayla, We love you so much!

Oh, it is hard to believe that my precious bundle of joy, my first grandchild, is now in 1st grade.

All my prayers and good karma go to Kayla as she begins her real school education. Praying for patience for Kayla, teachers and Mom and Dad (and Hailey, too), for finding new friends that travel the right path, that she sees the right path and follows it. That she opens that wonderful mind of hers and lets all of the new information absorb into her life, future and world. Kayla, you are wonderful – go learn.

With so much love from Grandma xoxoxoxoxo
